Enhancing life. Building community. Inspiring hope.
Chicago House and Social Service Agency serves individuals and families who are disenfranchised by HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ marginalization, poverty, homelessness, and/or gender nonconformity by providing housing, employment services, medical linkage and retention services, HIV prevention services, legal services, and other supportive programs.
In June, we celebrated the strength of the LGBTQ community. As the rainbow has come to symbolize our community and our spirit, Chicago House is proud to be a part of that legacy of standing up and addressing the needs of our community, despite the obstacles.
As we celebrate our successes, we need you more than ever, for the fight against HIV/AIDS and LGBTQ marginalization that's still being fought. LGBTQ individuals still face higher rates of poverty, unemployment, poor health outcomes, and homelessness.
We ask you to join Chicago House in celebrating Pride Month beyond the month of June by supporting us on the front lines. Every day, Chicago House is providing housing; health; and employment services, working with some of the most vulnerable among us.
You've been a shiny rainbow in the gloomy clouds that walk through our doors, those searching for a new way forward for hope. We need you to continue to be that shiny rainbow.
Let's celebrate the resilience of the LGBTQ community, the successes of our clients, and those that paved the way. Your support for Chicago House and our services will positively impact hundreds of LGBTQ individuals in Chicago.
